Contemporary Treasures specializes in the import of goods from Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, and other regions of the world. We are a very small, minority, woman-owned business. We have 4 staff – including two interns. We have been in operation since 2005. We are located in the heart of the Nation’s Capital in the United States, but thanks to our growing success, we have recently expanded our business to the internet so that we can provide the same excellence of service to a customer base world wide.

Our current product line includes a limited inventory of natural looking, superior quality full lace wigs and cranial prosthetic units. We have fair prices and our high quality units are ready to ship! Drastic changes in the economy and unprecedented weather anomalies and natural disasters, have forced us to pivot from our original product line of making heirloom quality home furnishings to redirecting our focus to provide, superior quality full lace hair systems, as well as beautiful imported garments, handicrafts, accessories, and personal items, most of which are exclusive to our website. Our acquisitions mainly come from items that we have sourced from abroad, items from suppliers whom we are in association with, small factories, co-ops, master craftsmen and women from around the world and we also handcraft several lines of products ourselves in hopes to provide our customers with new and exciting, products that are rare treasures, collectables, and/or in limited quantities from around the world. 

Our objective is to promote economic growth and stability and such in rural communities by creating employment opportunities for the local workers on a frequent basis and to provide you with the most amazing ecommerce transactions that you’ve ever experienced online.
